Hi, I’m Joy, affectionately known to my family as "Giddy." My nickname reflects the joy and excitement I bring to life, much like the apostle Luke in the Bible, who was "giddy" upon seeing Jesus after THE RESURRECTION.
I’m passionate about baking, writing, and creating a warm and welcoming home. With two wonderful sons and my beloved husband, fondly called "Charlie Bear," I cherish every moment of our 45-year marriage (46 Years together!). Charlie Bear earned his honorary title a few years back, and it suits him perfectly.
My hobbies include:
- Baking: Creating delicious Recipes that bring family and friends together.
- Writing Poetry: Sharing heartfelt verses that inspire and uplift.
- Sewing & Tapestry: Crafting handmade treasures that add charm to our home.
- Photography: Capturing memories, many of which you’ll find in the Photos section of this site.
I’m also deeply committed to my faith, serving as a prayer warrior for my friends, family, and local community.
